High School administration will be permitted to begin awarding or distributing Key Cards on Ocotober 2007to eligible students (see below). Such Key Card distribution must occur on an on-going basis through the academic school year. All Key Cards must be awarded by March 2007. Any Key Cards that haven't been awarded/ distributed by that time will be forfeited.
Decisions with respect to Key Cards made by High School administration are final and binding. Similarly, decisions made by the Village Automotive Group with respect to prizes awarded in connection with the Village Automotive Keys to Success contest are final and binding. High School administration is responsible for and has full discretionary power concerning the Key Card distribution. High School administration may, at any time, disqualify a student and remove them from the Village Automotive Keys to Success contest.
Each Key Card winner will also have the opportunity to select a "qualifying prize" via the Village Automotive Keys to Success website located at www.villageautomotivekeys.com. Each Key Card will include a code that will give the Key Card holder access to choose one pair of tickets from an assortment of yet to be determined events. Each Key Card is valid for 30 days after activation for one selection from the Ken Garff Keys to Success website. Selection of event prizes on the Village Automotive Keys to Success website is expressly subject to availability.
Upon selection of their qualifying prize, Key Card holders will be able to print a "confirmation page" that will act as their receipt for prize redemption. The vouchers/certificates will be mailed directly to the student's mailing address. If the student submits inaccurate information, therefore causing their tickets or certificates to not reach their destination in a timely manner, the school nor the student nor the student's parents can hold Village Automotive Group liable. Nor will the tickets be replaced as tickets are limited and donation based.
During the month of May 2007 each participating High School will conduct an elimination round wherein 50 Key Card holders will be selected to proceed to the next round of the Village Automotive Keys to Success contest (i.e., the final vehicle giveaway). The process in which participating High Schools reduce the number of contest participants will be random and will be done in the presence of a minimum of 2 witnesses. Elimination process will not include voting or debate (a 45 minute to 1 hour assembly is required for the vehicle giveaway).
The 50 remaining contest participants will be required to attend a final contest event wherein the contest grand prize winner will be awarded a vehicle courtesy of the Village Automotive Group (see "Grand Prize Description" below).
During the final contest event each of the 50 finalists will be placed in random order and will randomly select one of 50 numbers that corresponds with a key. The first key that starts the vehicle or opens the lock-box containing the actual keys to the vehicle will be considered the grand prize winner and will be awarded said vehicle subject to the provisions set forth herein.
If a finalist is unable to attend the giveaway assembly they may have an immediate family member (only) be a proxy through written notification prior to the assembly. Otherwise they will be considered disqualified and forfeit their participation. The Final contest will be held on school grounds. Final contest date and time will be determined by school administration in conjunction with the Village Automotive Group.
